
Update on crocheted wallpaper project:
OH NOOO! This is getting really scary! The colors just don't translate well from the wall to cotton yarn. It looked so good when the yarn wasn't crocheted - but now it's hideous.
(it's even worse in this blue-tint Swedish winter non-proper-daylight image)

I give this project one more chance - if it failes - it's "in-the-cupboard-under-some-other-scaryprojectstuff" and forget about it.

I still really enjoy the retro colors....

ReplyDeleteChristina: Jag har faktiskt inget super bra ställe - det finns ju endel bra på söder. Marias Garn tex. Jag bor i Vasastan och här ligger Wincent (dyr - men fina ullgarner) & så förstås gamla Lindqvists (http://www.ljungqvistgarn.se) vid Odenplan. Dit går jag om jag skall ha bomull. Har ganska mycket jag samlat på mig, fått &reafyndat genom åren. Försöker ta av mitt "lager" före jag köper nytt :-)
