Making the stuff in your home your own style

Sometimes you don't want the stuff for children (or other products) they sell in the stores because it has A LOT OF strange prints that you don't like :)
My quick tip for today is: Unpick the seams, save ribbons with buckles, elastic ribbons etc cut out new fabric from the pieces and sew it all back together again in a fabric that you like.
Maybe you have a nice fabric -- make a remake.

A pram for the dolls and a bouncy seat that I've made new fabric for that suits better with our style & taste.

läckert!

Visst blir det bättre än orginalet :-)

Bra idé, såklart! Allra helst om man kan köpa grejerna second hand så det blir återbruk rakt igenom.

...and we just brought a "doll-stroller" for N. She loves it and likes to run straight at us with it. But it's BABY PINK! Why can't they make things targeting small girls in more normal colors?

I bought a lovely bouncy seat (babysitter?) when I was pregnant with my first and it was definitely a splurge, but when everyone is going crazy it's nice to have some calming colors at least.

Thanks Meg! "Babysitter" is the Swedish word for it. Or should I say Swenglish :) I've changed it to English now :D
